[UPDATE] Google Does Away With "Display Images Option" in Gmail

In an unexpected move, Google has gone head and removed the option of clicking the link "Display Images Option" in Gmail and has taken upon itself to keep out inboxes clean on unwanted spam email messages with unwanted images.

A good move indeed.

[UPDATE] Google Updates Terms of Service (TOS) Across Its Sites

It seems as if it's the month of updates, and as if all the companies are trying to one-up each other by providing updates every other day. First it was LG announcing that it would be providing flexible displays and then Samsung came along with a curved phone itself. Yahoo announced major changes to it's email service by providing 1 TB space, POP/IMAP facility for emails, more email filters, Microsoft introduced the "Sweep" feature for Outlook.com, and now Google has gone ahead and updated its Terms of Service (TOS) with major changes to Google+.

If you log on to Google today you'll see a pop-up on the page at the top highlighting the change and also for you to click-through and read the updated TOS.

You can read the updated TOS at the link below:

Outlook.com adds "Sweep" Feature to Help Clear Inbox

Microsoft has been making subtle changes to the way Outlook.com has been functioning and have been making changes under the hood. This new feature helps one to better organize the inbox and to better filter all the incoming emails based on sender and to block unwanted emails from reaching the inbox.
