Google seems to be on and update spree and is pushing out updates to all of its products in a timed manner. For Chrome users there is some good news.

Google is testing new features for quite some time as part of experiments it is running on YouTube. It has to do with changing the way content is loaded when users switch pages or click on a new video while on YouTube. The old way of doing this was to reload this page fully, which meant that all content of the new page was loaded from cache or a server even if the content does not change at all.

With the new experiments in tow the element of the interface that are not changing are kept to speed up the page loading times. HTML5 enables web developers to change the links without reloading the entire page. Even though that is the case, a back-button is also created so that you can go back to the previous page without any issues.

Many of you would have noticed this in all browsers that support this feature. While Google has been testing this in different browsers, it has been enabled in Chrome for the current time being.

This is most evident by the fact that in the Chrome browser when you are vising YouTube, the site displays a red bar just underneath the address bar when you click on a link to another video.
